Network with Industry Colleagues
The VIP Dinner, sponsored by MIPS Technologies, will take place on the evening of Wednesday, 14 May, in the historic setting of the Trafalgar Tavern. Our host, John Bourgoin, President and Chief Executive Officer, MIPS Technologies, Inc. will welcome the VIP dinner guests. Delegates will enjoy a 3-course meal with wine in a picturesque setting with views of the River Thames.
Built in 1837 and located on the river Thames, the Trafalgar Tavern quickly became famous for its whitebait suppers, attended by members of Parliament, with the fish sourced directly from the river. The literary giants of the day, such as Charles Dickens, William Thackeray and Wilkie Collins were regular patrons, and Dickens used the tavern as the setting for a scene in his novel Our Mutual Friend.
The Tavern ceased to be used as an inn and restaurant in 1915, and became a seamen's hostel, then a working men's club. It was re-opened in its present usage as a restaurant and banqueting hall in 1965.
Coach transport will be provided for delegates between ExCel London and the Trafalgar Tavern. Meet at the west entrance at ExCel London, 18:40
Due to maximum capacity, the VIP Dinner reservations will be on a first come, first serve basis of purchasing tickets.
